...Wombats are close relatives to the Koala who sport very short, muscular legs. When they congregate in a group, they're called a "wisdom." These critters have the characteristic pouch of a marsupial but theirs faces backwards. This allows the wombat to still dig burrows when they are nursing their young without filling the pouch with dirt.
