Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Who was the first female candidate for the U.S. presidency?"

Victoria Woodhull was a woman 100 years ahead of her time. She ran for President of the United States in 1872. Woodhull was nominated for President of the United States by the newly formed Equal Rights Party on May 10, 1872, at Apollo Hall, New York City. Although laws prohibited women from voting, there was nothing stopping women from running for office. Frederick Douglass, the famed civil rights activist, was nominated to be her vice president, though he never acknowledged or accepted the nomination publicly.

[Answer] How many NFL football teams in the U.S. have never played in a Super Bowl?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "How many NFL football teams in the U.S. have never played in a Super Bowl?"

...The American Football League and the National Football League merged in 1970. After that, the final game of the season, played to determine the one team that stood above the rest, took the name "Super Bowl." Today, there are four teams who have the distinction of never having played in a Super Bowl: The Cleveland Browns, the Houston Texans, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Detroit Lions. The Jaguars and the Texans are fairly new to the NFL, which can account for their lack of an appearance in the Super Bowl. The other two? Not sure what they're waiting on. Source: Reference.com
