But not the letters ‘X’ and ‘W’. ‘W’ only heads off countries that are part of other sovereign countries, like Wales in the United Kingdom, for instance. The letter ‘X’ may begin the names of territories and cities around the globe, but no country begins with ‘X’. So, until West Xylophone becomes a sovereign nation, the lonely letters will remain at the bottom of the heap.
