...Recent research in the oneirology field is starting to put together a cohesive picture about the nature of dreaming. Oneirology is the scientific study of dreaming. Scientists have recently focused on answering the question, "Where do thoughts we don't want to think about actually go?" Research results seem to suggest that attempts to ignore unpleasant thoughts only leads of them playing out in our dreams.
