...A group of rhinos is aptly named, considering the reputation of these mammals. A rhino group is a crash. Males and females will establish their own territories and defend it. The males will mark their territory to warn away other males. There are five species of rhinoceros: African (both black and white,) Indian, Javan, and Sumatran. Black African, Javan and Sumatran are on the critically endangered species list. African white rhinos have the largest number still surviving in the wild.
