[Answer] 4. At work, what would happen to a "candidate for derecruitment"?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "4. At work, what would happen to a "candidate for derecruitment"?"

...1. Be named in a sexual harassment suit 2. Be promoted 3. Be fired 4. Be given a deputy Recruiting is when you get someone to join your organization. Derecruitment would then be when you get someone out of your organization. Being promoted should only lead to derecruitment if the person promoted misused their new authority. Being named in a sexual harassment suit would not necessarily lead to derecruitment. Nowadays the person named would first be required to attend sexual harassment training (and by that I mean learning how NOT to sexually harass someone. You learn that distinction right away...or so I'm told.) Being given a deputy is generally a good thing unless your deputy is young, talented, ambitious and conniving and they undermine you and spread rumors about you until they get YOUR job. But I digress.

[Answer] Which of the following events usually does NOT happen on Halloween?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Which of the following events usually does NOT happen on Halloween?"

...Halloween is not a federal holiday so schools and businesses remain open. Halloween has its origin in Celtic mythology where it would mark the end of the Celtic year. It is said that the "door" between worlds would open and spirits would come into our world and visit their former homes. People would wear costumes to drive away evil spirits. These days, children dress up in costumes and go from house to house at night ringing doorbells, saying "trick or treat" and receiving candy in return. Some Halloween customs include bobbing for apples, carving jack-o'-lanterns, and having parties, either as a neighborhood, school, or business.

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie happen to share their names with a cop and a cabdriver from what classic film?"

Bert and Ernie are two Muppets who appear together in numerous skits on the popular U.S. children's television show Sesame Street. Originated by Frank Oz and Jim Henson, the characters are currently performed by puppeteers Eric Jacobson and Peter Linz; Oz occasionally performed Bert between 2000 and 2006.

Step 2 : Answer to the question "Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie happen to share their names with a cop and a cabdriver from what classic film?"

It's a Wonderful Life:

The Sesame Street Muppet characters Bert and Ernie share their names with the cop and the taxicab driver in the film "It's A Wonderful Life". It has long been rumored that Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street were named after Bert the policeman and Ernie the cab driver in the film "It's A Wonderful Life". This rumor often resurfaces around Christmas in "trivia" articles, however there has never been any official confirmation of this rumor. On the contrary, most sources from the Henson Company have claimed it to be merely a coincidence.
