Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Who do the Italians call Topolino?"
...Mickey Mouse is known as Topolino in Italy, and he appears in an iconic comic book of the same name, which has been published for over 80 years. In Italy, Topolino is one of Italy’s longest-running and best-loved comic books for kids. It all began in 1932, four years after Walt Disney himself began drawing his Steamboat Willie cartoons. Italian editor Mario Nerbini began printing Mickey cartoons of his own, drawing a character called Topolino, which translates to “little mouse” in Italian. On the official Disney.it website, Italians can sign up for the "Topolino Club," which is the Italian version of the Mickey Mouse club.
