Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Ted Stevens International Airport is in which U.S. city?"
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is a major airport located in Anchorage, Alaska. The airport is named for Ted Stevens, a U.S. senator from Alaska in office from 1968 to 2009. In 1978, Ted Stevens and his wife Ann were passengers in a Learjet that crash-landed at Anchorage International Airport. Ann was killed, but Stevens was one of two survivors. In 2000, he was named "Alaskan of the Century" and the Alaska Legislature passed a bill to rename the airport in Anchorage as Ted Stevens International Airport.
