From the time he was very young, he was a performer and tried make anyone and everyone laugh. In the early 1980s, he was noticed by Rodney Dangerfield, while working in "The Comedy Store" in Los Angeles and was asked to open a tour for Dangerfield. That was a success and shortly after, his movie career took off. He has starred in over twenty movies, including "The Mask", "Dumb and Dumber", "Liar, Liar", "Man on the Moon" and "The Cable Guy", to name a few. Carrey has won six Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, one Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in "Man on the Moon", two People's Choice Awards. He has also been nominated for more than twenty MTV Movie Awards, winning at least ten. One of these nominations was for Best Kiss with Jennifer Aniston in "Bruce Almighty".
