...The Great Rift Valley is an enormous geological and geographical feature that begins in northern Syria and runs southward to Central Mozambique. It is such an impressive feature that it is visible from space. The 4,000 miles that make up the Rift are ripe with amazing scenery and abundant native wildlife. The width of the Great Rift Valley varies from twenty miles to sixty miles at its widest point. There are around 30 lakes along the length of the Great Rift.
