Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Which famous pilot often flew with his Great Dane “Moritz” alongside him?"
Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the "Red Baron", was a fighter pilot with the German Air Force during World War I. He is considered the ace-of-aces of the war, being officially credited with 80 air combat victories before being killed in the skies in 1918. The Red Baron often took his Great Dane “Moritz” on flights with him during World War I. In fact, Moritz was his “partner in flight” during many of his most important victories and appears in almost all of the Baron’s wartime photographs. The Red Baron usually took Moritz with him on social occasions and it was not unusual for him to share a beer with Moritz.
