...The Statue of Liberty got a name change on her 125th anniversary in 2011. A series of web cams installed around her torch give visitors and the curious unobstructed panoramas and live views of New York City. People can watch the famous city skyline, the Hudson River and ships in the New York Harbor from a computer or smartphone. With these upgrades, the name of Lady Liberty was officially changed by the National Park Service. She is now known as "Liberty Enlightening the World Wide Web." Source: NPS.gov
