[Answer] What caused the death of Marie Curie?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "What caused the death of Marie Curie?"

...Marie Curie became the first person to be awarded two Nobel Prizes, one in Physics and one in Chemistry. She was also the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. Working with her husband Pierre Curie, Marie discovered the elements polonium and radium. After her husband's death, she continued her work and is credited with developing X-rays. She was born Nov. 7, 1867, and died of aplastic anemia, a form of leukemia, in 1934. It is widely accepted that her terminal illness was a direct result of her work with radiation.
