[Answer] On what day is Christmas celebrated in Bulgaria?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "On what day is Christmas celebrated in Bulgaria?"

...Because the Bulgarian Orthodox Church uses the Gregorian calendar, Christmas falls Dec. 25 each year. This differs from many other Eastern European countries still using the Julian Calendar. This old calendar places Christmas celebrations Jan. 7. Many of Bulgaria's citizens follow the Orthodox Church, so Christmas preparations begin Nov. 15 with Advent. The preparations continue for 40 days. Many Bulgarians continue the tradition of burning a Yule Log on Christmas Eve. Source: WhyChristmas.com
