...Alnwick Garden covers about 14 acres and sees over 600,000 visitors each year. The "Poison Garden," its official nickname, includes an area cordoned off behind black iron gates. The Poison Garden contains 100 of the most infamous killer plants. Jane Percy, Duchess of Northumberland, developed the idea for the garden in 1995.
