Albert Einstein with his theory of relativity and quantum mechanics laid the groundwork for everything that physics is able to accomplish today. His groundbreaking equation E=mc^2 made it possible to build the atomic bomb to end WW2 and to go on to build bigger and better bombs since then. It has also opened up physics to research about black holes and knowing that space time is curved and not flat. Einstein gave us so much knowledge that we are still sifting through to learn more about the universe. Science will forever be indebted to him and everyone will always remember the name Einstein for however long the human race is around.
