Step 1 : Introduction to the question " Which two countries are involved in the Kashmir conflict? "
...
The Kashmir conflict is a territorial conflict over the Kashmir region, primarily between India and Pakistan, with China playing a third-party role. The conflict started after the partition of India in 1947 as both India and Pakistan claimed the entirety of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kashmir has three parts. One in Pakistan 2nd in India and the 3rd in China (China's part is based only on mountains.) The nations of India and Pakistan have fiercely contested each other over Kashmir, fighting three major wars and two minor wars.
China got Kashmir when India attacked on China due to border issues. India had impelled armed forces in Kashmir when they (Kashmiries) struggled and demanded freedom in 2016 after the death of their hero named Burhan Wani (he was a commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, an Islamist militant organization and insurgent group of the Kashmir conflict.) In 2019 Imran Khan (PM of Pakistan at that time) raised this issue in UN.
