Step 2 : Answer to the question "Where is this cliffside lighthouse?"

United Kingdom - Lighting the way across the English Channel near East Sussex, the Beachy Head Lighthouse is an early 20th-century, 108-foot-tall beacon. It was the Trinity House’s last traditional offshore lighthouse, also known as a “rock tower.” Located about 1,770 feet from the Beachy Head cliffs, the lighthouse was built using 3,660 tons of Cornish granite and features a revolving catadioptric optic that emits two white flashes every 20 seconds. It also lets out a particularly thundering fog signal in the event of low visibility. Three lighthouse keepers operated the candy-striped tower for nearly a century, enabling ship captains to know the lighthouse’s coordinates for up to 26 nautical miles.
