Miller's record company, RCA Victor, decided to celebrate. In a live broadcast, they presented the bandleader with a solid gold version of the recording. Other record companies followed suit, presenting similar gold records to their top artists, and in the late 1950s, the Recording Industry Association of America took over, providing outsider certification of sales. Meanwhile, the Chattanooga Choo-Choo is now a hotel in Tennessee — created from the buildings that once served as Chattanooga's Terminal Station.:
