Wales - The Green Bridge of Wales is a natural sea arch that crosses “The Wash,” a bay on the southern coast of Pembrokeshire. The 80-foot-tall arch is blanketed with greenery and spans 66 feet. The waves formed caves on both sides of the limestone until they met, forming an empty opening in the cliff’s headland over millennia. The rock further out didn’t erode because its foundational rock was harder and stronger than limestone. Once the natural bridge dissolves from erosion, Green Bridge will eventually become a simple sea stack, like the other famous Stack Rocks that surround it.:
