[Answer] The mockingbird is the official bird in which of these states?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "The mockingbird is the official bird in which of these states?"

...1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. Arkansas 4. Missouri

Step 2 : Answer to the question "The mockingbird is the official bird in which of these states?"

Arkansas - Even though "To Kill A Mockingbird" is set in the fictional town of Maycomb, Alabama, the northern mockingbird is officially the state bird of Arkansas. (Alabama’s is the yellowhammer.) Arkansas can’t uniquely claim the mockingbird as its own, either — Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas have also named it their official state birds. (Two birds are even more common: The northern cardinal is the official bird of seven states, and the western meadowlark is official in six states.) You’ll hear a mockingbird’s famous song in many parts of North America, but it’s particularly common in southern states. The warbling bird is so named because this particular type of bird likes to mimic the songs of other species and they are known to be a particularly intelligent bird species. Birdwatchers can spot the northern mockingbird by its gray and brown plumage, long tail, and white patches on its wings and tail which are visible in flight.:
