This small Canadian town is the only one in the world with not one, but two, exclamation points in its name. The Quebecois town was founded in 1874 as a Catholic mission post. The "haha" in its name comes from an old French term for a landscape feature that creates an invisible boundary line. Here, Lake Témiscouata provided a substantial blockage to would-be fur trappers and missionaries. Nobody is quite sure why the exclamation marks were added into the new town's name, but it is one of only a few places in the world to feature them.:
