Step 2 : Answer to the question "Where would you find the "Niagara of the South"?"
Kentucky - One of the largest waterfalls by volume east of the Mississippi River, Kentucky’s Cumberland Falls is often nicknamed the “Niagara of the South.” The falls are about 125 feet wide and 70 feet tall. But their impressive scale isn’t the only feature that draws tourists to the falls. The site is one of the best known places to spot moonbows, also called lunar rainbows or “rainbows of the night.” These are produced when moonlight refracts through moisture droplets in the air. Moonbows typically appear at Cumberland Falls for about two nights around the full moon, as long as the sky is clear. The falls are open 24 hours a day, and visitors can hike a special trail to catch the show, the Moonbow Trail, that begins at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.:
