Step 2 : Answer to the question "In which state can you explore the Great Salt Plains?"

Oklahoma - A large swath of the Great Plains, which stretch from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River, was once covered by a prehistoric ocean. Today, you can still see the salt deposits and a shallow salt lake leftover from that ocean at Salt Plains State Park, which covers 11,000 square miles in north-central Oklahoma. The water of Great Salt Plains Lake — which averages just four feet deep — is about half as salty as the ocean. A variety of fish populate the lake, and the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge is home to 300 species of protected birds. But perhaps the area’s most popular attraction is the selenite crystal — this is the only place in the world where salt crystallizes to form into these stunning hour-glass-shaped crystals. :
