Twenty stamps in the limited-edition collection featured citizens who lived to be 100, and the remaining seven stamps depicted semi-supercentenarians (ages 105 to 109) and supercentenarians, who lived to 110 years. In 2021, the United Nations expects the population of centenarians worldwide to number approximately 573,000. The U.S. is home to the highest share of people 100 years or older, with 97,000 living in the country.:
