Step 2 : Answer to the question "What state is home to a lake known as “America’s Dead Sea”? "

Utah - You’ll find the largest salt lake in North America — and indeed, the Western Hemisphere — in northwest Utah. The Great Salt Lake is the remnant of a huge freshwater lake from the last Ice Age known as Lake Bonneville, which formed about 30,000 years ago. As the climate warmed, the lake shrank, leaving its minerals concentrated in increasingly small amounts of water. While the Bear, Weber, and Jordan rivers feed the Great Salt Lake, there’s no outlet to the body of water. It’s what’s known as a “terminal lake,” which is why it stays so salty. The size of the lake varies greatly with the weather, but it’s currently 75 miles long and about 35 miles wide. It’s shallow, too — only about 14 feet deep on average. With about 4.3 billion tons of salt inside, it’s far too salty for most fish, but some salt-loving species of algae, brine shrimp, and brine flies have made it their home. And just like the Dead Sea, you can float there.:
