[Answer] Who is permitted inside Big Ben?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Who is permitted inside Big Ben?"

...1. Only the Queen 2. Only U.K. residents 3. Only members of Parliament 4. Open to anyone

Step 2 : Answer to the question "Who is permitted inside Big Ben?"

Only U.K. residents - If you’re a foreigner and you want to see the inside of Elizabeth Tower (aka “Big Ben”), then you’re out of luck. Tours of the inner workings of London’s renowned clock tower are available only to permanent U.K. residents. Completed in 1859, the Elizabeth Tower was originally called the Clock Tower. “Big Ben” actually refers to the bell inside the tower, which was renamed to honor Queen Elizabeth II on her 2012 Diamond Jubilee. As of 2020, no visitors are currently allowed to visit either Big Ben or Elizabeth Tower, as both are under restoration. When it opens up again, you'll need to petition a member of the House of Lords or Parliament for a free tour. Not only will you need to be a U.K. resident, but you’ll want to be in decent shape, too — guests are required to be able to climb the 334 steps without assistance. :
