Step 1 : Introduction to the question "Which two men were famous for their dream interpretation?"
...The book of Hebrews begins with these words: "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son." One of the ways God spoke to His people was through dreams and Spirit-guided interpretation. You may remember the striking dreams of Joseph, the young son of Jacob, who sported a multicolored coat. Joseph dreamed that he would one day become a ruler, even over his older brothers and parents. However, the road to leadership would not be easy. He was sold into slavery by his brothers, mistreated and put in prison where Joseph interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh's chief baker and cupbearer. God's word proved true, and after two years, Pharaoh had his own disturbing dream. Joseph was lifted from the pit and installed in the palace. Many years later, God gave this ability to another young man who was likewise exiled in a foreign land. Daniel served in the royal court of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar, and he interpreted his dream about the terrifying man made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay. God was showing both Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar what He was going to do, and ultimately, how He would rescue and protect His people.
