Step 2 : Answer to the question "What was the name of Jonathan's lame son?"

Mephibosheth - Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, was lame in his feet, as a result of an injury when he was five years old. When news of Jonathan and Saul’s death had come, Mephibosheth’s nurse had to pick him up to flee. In their haste, the boy fell and became lame. Years later, David was looking for someone in Jonathan’s family that he could show kindness to. A servant, Ziba, suggested Mephibosheth, so David had the boy brought to him. Mephibosheth fell on his face before David. David said, “Do not fear, for I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I will restore you all the land of Saul your father, and you shall eat at my table always” (2 Samuel 9:7). David arranged for the servant Ziba’s family to work that land and provide for Mephibosheth. And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem and always ate at the king’s table, like one of the king’s sons.:
