Step 2 : Answer to the question "What is the world's warmest ocean?"
Indian Ocean - Being that most of the Indian Ocean lies in the tropics, its average temps range between 72 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit at the surface. That’s the warmest of all the world’s oceans. Although the Pacific can get quite warm near the equator, the range is a lot broader, with the polar sections averaging around 29.5 degrees F and the equatorial areas at around 86 degrees F. The Atlantic isn’t far off with a range from 28 degrees F to 86 degrees F, while the Southern Ocean is pretty cold, averaging 28 to 50 degrees F. Last but not least, the Arctic is (unsurprisingly) the chilliest, at 28.6 °F to 30.2 °F. Brrrrr.:
