David sinned with Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife, but God’s redemption points to the grace he offers us through Christ. Mary, the virgin mother of Jesus, is the fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah 7. From the very beginning (Genesis 3), God planned to use women to bring about his eternal purposes.:
