Step 2 : Answer to the question "What advice did Moses receive from his father-in-law?"

To choose chiefs - Sometimes in-laws get a bad rap. But in Mose’s case, he had a great relationship with his father-in-law, Jethro. Jethro arrived at the Israelite camp with Mose’s wife and sons. The first thing they did was sit in the tent together and Moses told Jethro about all that the Lord did to Pharaoh and how the Lord had delivered them out of Egypt. His testimony caused Jethro to worship the Lord. The next day, Moses sat to judge the people. They lined up and from morning till evening Moses heard their disputes and settled things according to God’s law. “This is no good,” Jethro declared. “You’re going to wear yourself out! I’ll give you some advice.” Jethro suggested that Moses select some able men who feared God and would be honest, and make them into chiefs over groups of people. The chiefs would be able to help the people work out small matters so that Moses would be freed up for more important tasks. Delegation...it's an important lesson to learn. :
