Jesus answered from Deuteronomy 6:16, “It is written, do not put the Lord your God to the test.” And when Satan tempted Jesus to worship him in exchange for all the kingdoms of the world, Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 6:13 and 1 Samuel 7:3. “You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve,” he said. And the defeated devil left him.:
