Step 2 : Answer to the question "Where did Jesus' perform his first miracle?"

Galilee - Jesus began his formal ministry when he was about 30 years old. He was baptized by the Holy Spirit, tempted by the devil, and called his first disciples. During this time, he also attended a wedding at Cana in Galilee. John 2 tells us that during the celebration, the hosts ran out of wine. Jesus’ mother, Mary, said to him, “They have no wine.” Jesus responded by asking her what that had to do with him. Mary was full of faith, and knew that Jesus was capable of performing miracles. Jesus gently reminded her that her role as his mother did not give her authority over his work as the Messiah. He answered her request not because she asked, but because it was time for his earthly ministry to begin. \n
\nJesus told the servants to fill six stone water jars with water and to take them to the master of the feast. When he tasted the water, it had turned into wine! It was such delicious wine that the master of feast, who didn't know where the wine had come from, complimented the bridegroom for reserving the best wine for later on in the celebration. :
