She has won many, many Awards including Grammys, and she was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998. She has also been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Some of her number one hits are "I Don't Wanna Play House" "Take Me to Your World", "D-I-V-O-R-C-E", "Singing My Song" and "The Ways to Love a Man". She died in April 1998, age 55 years.
