Hawaii - When drawing up borders in the United States, it became pretty clear that the founding fathers needed to make things as easy as possible. Where there wasn’t a natural border to speak of - such as a river or mountain range - a straight line was deemed sufficient, and the rest, as they say, is history. Of course, all but one US state has a straight line on at least one of its borders, and that accolade belongs to Hawaii. They of course don't share a land border either, as they bask in beautiful weather all the way out in the central Pacific.\n\n
