[Ans] When was the game "Twister" first introduced?

Step 1 : Introduction to the question "When was the game "Twister" first introduced?"

...Twister is a game of physical skill, produced by Milton Bradley Company and Winning Moves, that has been inducted into the American National Toy Hall of Fame. It is played on a large plastic mat that is spread on the floor or ground. The mat has six rows of large colored circles on it with a different color in each row: red, yellow, green, and blue. A spinner is attached to a square board and is used to determine where the player has to put their hand or foot. The spinner is divided into four labeled sections: left foot, right foot, left hand, and right hand. Each of those four sections is divided into the four colors (red, yellow, green, and blue). After spinning, the combination is called (for example: "right hand yellow") and players must move their matching hand or foot to a circle of the correct color.

Step 2 : Answer to the question "When was the game "Twister" first introduced?"

1965:

When the Milton-Bradley company introduced its "Twister" game in 1965, competitors lambasted it as "sex in a box." It was in 1966 that a brilliant marketing move launched "Twister" on its way to gaming immortality. In a desperate last effort to save the game from marketing oblivion, the PR firm promoting the game decided to push it on the hugely popular "Tonight Show." Host Johnny Carson and his guest, actress Eva Gabor, played "Twister" on the air, becoming playfully entangled to the hysterical laughter of the studio audience. The game sold more than 3 million copies over the next year and went on to garner the Game of the Year award in 1967. Source: MentalFloss.com
