When Captain Marvel hits the silver screen in 2019, it will be the first movie from Marvel Studios to feature a female lead. Announced last year at San Diego Comic-Con, actress Brie Larson is slated to portray the film’s titular character Carol Danvers and the Oscar-winning actress has been more than excited to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
