Modem Disconnecting When I Send Email or Uploading Files

Windows FirewallHi buddy.... Here I come up with a simple solution for "disconnecting modem problem ". You may frustrate with modem disconnecting problem many times while you sending an email or uploading any file to internet.
There are many reasons that causes this problem. As we solve any problem in three steps in out Try3Steps.com, here we come up with best solution that causes this "Modem Disconnecting When I Send Email or Uploading Files" problem. 



1. Check your Firewall settings:


A firewall is software or hardware that checks information coming from the Internet or a network, and then either blocks it or allows it to pass through to your computer, depending on your firewall settings. 
Even if you think there's nothing on your computer that would interest anyone, a worm could completely disable your computer, or someone could use your computer to help spread worms or viruses to other computers without your knowledge.

So turn off the firewall for some time. This will allow your files to communicate with email or similar websites. here is the procedure to turn off the firewall so that you can send your email via modem.

Windows Firewall is on by default in this version of Windows. To make sure it hasn't been turned off, follow these steps:

   1. Open windows firewall.
   2. In the left pane, click Turn Windows Firewall on or off, for this action you need administrative permissions.
   3. You are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 




2. Check your USB Drives : 


Improper installation of this drivers also lead to this type of problems, so you need to find whether they are installed properly or not.
If you have a hardware device that isn't working properly with your computer, you probably need an updated driver. There are three ways to update a driver:
Use Windows Update. You might need to set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates.
Install software from the device manufacturer. For example, if your device came with a disc, that disc might contain software that installs a driver for the device.
Download and update the driver yourself. Use this method to install a driver that you download from the manufacturer's website. Do this if Windows Update can't find a driver for your device and the device didn't come with software that installs a driver.

Most USB devices that have power switches should be turned on before you connect them. If your device uses a power cord, connect the device to a power source. Then, turn it on before connecting it.
Next, determine which USB port you want to connect your device to. If your computer has USB ports on the front, consider using one of those if you plan to frequently connect and disconnect the device. (You can use any port the next time you plug in the device.)
