Airtel Zero and FlipKart on Net Neutrality Update

Private telecom company Bharti Airtel on Monday launched an open marketing platform named 'Airtel Zero'. With this program 'Airtel Zero' users of airtel can use this platform for a variety of mobile applications at zero data charges. The application providers can bare charge for users who use this applicaion. 'As well as the users of the Airtel, Bharti Airtel and Applicaiton providers both can get benifit with this program “Airtel Zero” ' India Director of Bharti Airtel(Consumer Business) Shri Gopalan said.
From users to petty traders get benefit with the plan of Airtel Zero he added.


But suddenly with huge apposition from the netizens airtel finally facing huge critisizm from netizens. Flipkart on Tuesday decided to stay away from the domestic private sector telecom giant Bharti Airtel new program 'Airtel zero'. Flipkart decided to put an end to the negotiations for 'Airtel Zero' which is made clear by thier quitting. Their officials said that their supporting for the net neutraliry. With this unexpected thig Airtel has finally saying that we are also supporting for Internet neutrality. But no one know why they started this non sense. On the other hand, Telecom regulator Authority of India (TRAI) responded to this. With mobile applications and supporting services there is a threat to national integrity and security with the messages and call offering by these services.

With “Net neutraliry” all the netizens across the country protested this issue. But god only knows how many of them really aware of the business as well as socialogical things associated with issue. They shouted with their “Protect the Internet” slogan to support net neutrality. Celebrities, political leaders of the various political parties supported the movement. Then, in responce to this the e-commerce giant flipkart backed out.

Some of these companies who already registered with these “Airtel Zero” program are negotiating with their higher official on this issue. Reliance and other companies have also entered into agreements for some websites to offer similar services.

However, in support to this issue Sachin Bansal Recently tweeted in twitter. Many netizens get angry with this statement and then removed the flipkart app from their smart phones. After that he backend their words by accepting net neutrality.
Airtel officially announced that this program will work as 1-800 toll free number, but you people feel this was not correct then we respect your feelings. We won't block any sites that are not stated in this platform they added. On the other hand , the Indian Congress voiced support for net neutrality.

Indian National Congress demanded that Department of Telecom on this topic has to take responsibility and they have to made amedmends on 25 section of the Act of TROI. They demanded PM have to respond on this issue as early as possible.
