Dehydration :
What is meant by dehydration?
Dehydration is a state that the excessive loss of water from the body. In order to work with the systems in our body, body needs certain amount of water. This requirement is at least 8 glasses of water a day. This requirement may be different from day to day work of man, varies depending on the age group. The people who does burdensome labour work must take care to drink two to three times extra amount of water as mentioned above. Water to be delivered to the biological processes that occur naturally in our body. Even if we take sufficient measures, it will be possible to get dehydrated.
The Causes of Dehydration :
High water loss from Esophagus (digestive system) may lead to this condition. The reasons for this
are as follows.
1. Inflammation inside the intestine or On the surface of the intestine.
2. Increased fluid secretion due to presence of Bacteria, viruses present in our body.
3. The lack of adequate intake of water, for example loosing water due to vomiting etc,.
Signs and Symptoms of Dehydration:
The major symptom of dehydration is “Weight loss” in a past few days.
(Few times within few hours quick drop of more than 10 percent of the body weight issue consider serious condition.
Some times it may be difficult to find symptoms if the patient already suffering with other disease symptoms.
1. More thirst
2. Thirsty tongue
3. Dry Skin
4. Feeling of less head weight. (Especially when standing up)
5. Weakness
6. Color of urine is dark yellow and urine coming out is less.
7. The chemicals present in our body may change radically when the body dehydrated.
8. In some cases, dehydration may also damage the kidneys.
