Continuous Fever and Body Pain – Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment

Fever in Adults :



Normal human body temperature is 37.0 C or  98.60 F. If it is more than the body temperature then we call it as fever. Usually 37.50 C(100 F). Fever in the body is not a disease, but it is only one of the symptoms of the disease. As the impact of the disease increases, intensity of  fever also increase proportionately. If it reaches 39.50 C (103.0F) or more you need doctor's advice immediately.








Common Causes of Fever:



 1. Malaria
 2. Typhoid
 3. Tuberculosis
 4. Rheumatic fever
 5. Chicken pox
 6. Infection in the lungs
 7. Cold and cough
 8. Tonsillitis
 9. bronchitis
 10. urinary bladder infection
 11. Bacteria virus

Common Symptoms of Fever:


 1. 37.50 C or 100.0 F  fever
 2. Headache
 3. Fever with Shivering
 4. Arthritis
 5. Bitter mouth
 6. nauseate, constipation

Precautions to be Taken:



 1. We must try to decrease the temperature of the patient
 2. Common fan can provide some relaxation
 3. Clothing should be done with some loose and soft cloths
 4. Thin sheets should be used
 5. Wipe the water with warm water
 6. Intake of  liquid extracts must be increased
 7. Don't wipe the body with cool water.
 8. When we suffer from fever body need more calories.
 9. Taking more rest, drinking more water will give good results
 10. As we said body require more calories to the body, so glucose, liquid extracts, such as fruit juices should be given to patients.
 11. Rice starch, sago porridge, porridge, barley water etc,. easily digestible substances be given to patients.
 12. Coffee, tea such liquid extracts shouldn't be too hot.
 13. Milk, bread-like substances can be eaten.
 14. Meat, egg, butter, yogurt, oil extracts must be avoided.
