would like to give you a gift in the form of VLC Media Player Santa

If
you are using Fedora or Ubuntu flat form you are going to enjoy the
VLC Hat for this entire year. If you are using Windows similar
procedure will help you to make santa hat for entire year.
To
make this successful you need to follow these basic three steps by
the end of the third step you are going to get the santa hat for your
vlc.
Step 1: Find the location of VLC icon in your File System
The basic procedure of this process is to find the
location of the vlc media player icons present in the file system,
and replace all of them with Christmas VLC media player icons so that
you will get the same icon for ever.
To find the
location of VLC Icons, first open the “Search for files”
application from:
Places>>
Search for files
After this just
type VLC by selecting “File System” As Location.
Then
you will see the Many files and Images related to VLC. Here Iam

Step 2: Replace VLC Icon with Christmas - VLC icon
As you can see in
the picture, replace the Images with name of “vlc.png” with
“vlc-christmas.png”. To do this you need to follow this
procedure.
Many of file
systems won’t support user access, for that you need to change the
ownership of the folder which contain the images. To do this enter
these commands in command line or Terminal.
bash-4.1$ su
Password:
**************
[root@rkv USER
NAME]# chown "USER NAME"
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/
- After entering “su” Command, it may prompt to ask for password, then provide it.
- I Have shown this password in the form of “***********”
- In third step replace the “USER NAME ” with your pc user name.
Step 3: Change Ownership of any folder
By
using this procedure you can do lot of things that you may surprise
your friends. By changing ownership of the any folder with the
command listed above. You can also change the group of any folder
with the following command.
chown
"USER NAME" “File location”
